Geez, I almost forgot to post about today's viewing. I was having a nice, lazy day (aside from the hour on the treadmill) and it just got away from me. So, anyway, The Wheel in Space...
Let's talk very briefly about that?
The Wheel in Space - Episodes 3 & 4
(TARDIS Data Core recap)
I really don't have a lot to say about these middle episodes. The Cybermen are executing some kind of long, drawn out plan in which they steal a spaceship, make it appear to be derelict, send over some bubbles to The Wheel containing Cybermats, have their robot bugs eat the Bernalium that powers The Wheel's main weapon, and then stow away in a giant carton of Bernalium in order to get themselves on The Wheel, and use some kind of mind control on the humans. Oh, and they have also blown up a start that is now sending debris to the defenseless space station. Meanwhile, the Doctor spends an inordinate amount of time recovering from a minor bump to the head. Oh, and Zoe is there and her shtick is that she is a genius with mathematics and astrophysics, but is completely lacking in emotion. Or something.
I dunno, this one is really feeling pretty padded. Hopefully tomorrow's big ending will be better?
