Sapphire & Steel: Assignment 5 a.k.a. Doctor McDee Must Die, Episodes 1 & 2

Sapphire and Steel are sent on a new assignment, to battle a malignant force whose evil plan is to bore the audience for at least one full hour (and very possibly three, I will find out tomorrow and the next day) by way of an interminable English dinner party. It's a fancy-dress party that happens in 1980 but is themed to 1930, and there is some kind of actual time slip happening. Everyone at the party is both boring and annoying, up to and including the title characters. The second episode ends with one boring party guest opening a cabinet, only to have the corpse of another party guest fall on them. It's not scary.
