Turns out the indigenous species, ages ago when they were at the peak of their civilization, built a doomsday weapon that could destroy the entire universe. Then they regressed into a less civilized state. Also, the radiation from their doomsday weapon is what has preventing crops from growing. So, the Master tried to gain control of the doomsday weapon but was thwarted. The Intergalactic Mining Corporation tried to gain control of the planet, but was thwarted. Everyone lives happily ever after, including the Master who escaped in his own TARDIS, and the Doctor and Jo who traveled back to Earth mere moments after they had left at the beginning of the story.

Honestly there's not a lot to talk about here except that I am completely jazzed about hitting 500 miles, especially just two days before I am meeting both Peter Capaldi and Karen Gillan. Now if you'll excuse me, I am going to go celebrate.
