Donna Noble Has Left The Library. Donna Noble Has Been Saved. May 05 2018 Donna Noble River Song Happy Free Comic Book Day everyone! Did you stop by your local shop today? Or are you too wasted on tequila for Cinco de Mayo to remember? In either case, I hope you had a great day. Personally, I slaughtered a group of hedges in my front yard that I have hated for ages now. It felt great. And after that, I watched River Song meet the Doctor for the very last time. So let's talk about that. Read more ...
May the Fourth Be With You May 04 2018 There's no way the treadmill is happening today, so I'll just leave this here. Read more ...
Professor Peach, In the Library, With a Lead Pipe May 03 2018 10th Doctor Donna Noble We were supposed to get a new roof today. It didn't happen, the crew got hung up on their previous job. So theoretically we are getting a new roof tomorrow. Also tomorrow, I have photo shoot for acting headshots. So I gotta get to bed. Read more ...
Family Is Complicated May 02 2018 10th Doctor Donna Noble Martha Jones I have slam-;packed days for the next few days. I still definitely intend to hit the treadmill tomorrow morning, and I very much hope to do so sometime on Friday but it may get put off until evening. Tomorrow not only is our roof being replaced, but I have prep for a photo session on Friday plus a rehearsal for my cabaret at the Orlando Fringe Festival, plus very likely a trip to Disney with my son to avoid being in the house while said roof is being replaced. Then on Friday I have my first professional photo session to get acting headshots. It's all very exciting. As for today, I did manage treadmill and push-ups, although sit-ups fell by the wayside yet again. Oops. Read more ...
As They Say In Latin, Donna Nobis Pacem May 01 2018 10th Doctor Donna Noble Martha Jones Wilfred Mott Good news! Eight months after Hurricane Irma we are finally getting our roof replaced. It's been a bit of a slog going round and round with the insurance company. In the grand scheme of things we are very fortunate in that we had no major structural damage, but I will be very relieved to have the roof done before the rainy season in Florida starts up in the next few weeks. The workers may be here tomorrow, or else the next day, which may or may not disrupt my treadmill time. But I did get on the treadmill today, so let's talk Doctor Who. Read more ...
When Potatoes Attack Apr 30 2018 10th Doctor Donna Noble Martha Jones Wilfred Mott I'll be honest right up front: I am phoning this one in today. I overslept, didn't do my usual pre-treadmill workout, and barely managed to get my treadmill time in. Today was a morass of meetings and troubleshooting and re-writing code, and tonight I just want to crawl into bed. But before I can do that I need to get this done, so let's talk Doctor Who. The Circle Must Be Broken Apr 29 2018 10th Doctor Donna Noble Treadmill kicked my butt this morning. Okay, maybe it had something to do with me being out late last night, then getting up this morning and mowing the lawn, then doing a full set of pushups, and then hitting the treadmill, but it still kicked my butt. The funny thing is that because I was dragging so much and went a little bit slower than usual, I missed hitting the 1,500 mile mark today by two-hundredths of a mile. Like, if I would have just gone a tenth of a mile per hour faster for a few minutes I totally would have hit that milestone today. Oops. What I did do, though, was see the first mention of the DoctorDonna. So let's talk about that. Read more ...
Hey Honey, Guess What Percentage of Doctor Who Stories I Have Watched? Apr 28 2018 10th Doctor Donna Noble It has been such a lovely day so far today, and it promises to continue to be fantastic right to the end. This morning I got to sleep in, which was a rare treat. True, as soon as I woke up I did my hundred push-ups plus did one hundred and fifty six sit-ups before collapsing, and then followed that up with fifty five minutes on the treadmill, but I got to do all that two hours later than usual. How nice was that? Then my wife and I went to see Avengers: Infinity War (no spoilers, we liked it just fine, and the only thing better than a baby Groot is a surly teenage Groot). Tonight we are going out with a friend to see a local theatrical production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame featuring the work of several theatre friends. The sets and costumes look to be off-the-hook amazing. Read more ...
The Fat Just Walks Away Apr 27 2018 10th Doctor Donna Noble Rose Tyler Wilfred Mott More than fourteen months later, and I have finally arrived at the episode that kind of inspired this entire ridiculous project. That cute little marshmallow guy to the left of my post titles? That's an Adipose baby. Weight loss through parthenogenesis. Sadly, I am not able to just take a little pill and be thinner, I have had to earn it the hard way through honest sweat. That's ok, though. If feels good to have gotten here. So let's talk about it. Read more ...
The Poseidon Adventure: Space Edition Apr 26 2018 10th Doctor 5th Doctor Astrid Peth Wilfred Mott It's Christmas again already. Lately it seems like every other Thursday is Christmas. The best present came early, though, with the first (very brief) multi-Doctor story of the modern era. So let's talk about that. Read more ...
