I am so, so frustrated right now. Although I missed a bunch of workouts early on with K9, I have really been much more consistent for the past week. Even so, my weight just seems to keep going up and up and up. I know, I know, I swore this ridiculous project was not about weight, but that's really easy to say when you are on the free fall slope of the graph and way harder to say when you are on the upward slope. I really think I have hit the point where I need to start varying my workout significantly. I have been doing the treadmill thing for dang near two years, and it is absolutely time to start changing things up. The good news is I am roughly three weeks away from completely running out of unwatched officially-licensed Doctor Who related stories. I have some obscura to delve into after that, not to mention rewatches of older stories as the new BluRay seasons come out, but I think by the time I hit the two year mark on February 20th I will basically be done with this project as a daily thing. It's time to start breaking out my bike and my inline skates, and to maybe take another look at yoga, and to just generally change things up. That being said, today I started the last of the official spinoff programs, Class. I have really been looking forward to it, which is kind of why I saved it to the end. Here goes...

Oh, brilliant!

Oh, brilliant!

I did it! As of about 7:30 am this morning I completed watching every single episode of Doctor Who that has ever been broadcast (including reconstructions of the 97 currently-lost episodes), all while walking on a treadmill. During the past eighteen months I have taken 3,630,973 steps walking 1,897.84 miles, and watching 275 stories and 843 individual episodes. I have reached the end of Phase One of the Time Treadmill.

So let's talk about the final (for now) episode.

Farewell Forever, Bill Potts. I'll See You Again Tomorrow Morning.

Farewell Forever, Bill Potts. I'll See You Again Tomorrow Morning.

Five hundred and thirty days ago, I set foot on the Time Treadmill and watched both the original unaired version of An Unearthly Child and then the version that was first broadcast on November 23, 1963. Since that day I have walked almost 1,894 miles on the treadmill and have taken over 3.6 million steps. I lost close to seventy pounds of fat and put back on about ten pounds of muscle, lost nearly eight inches in my waist, and have now (with one last exception) watched every single episode of Doctor Who ever broadcast -- including reconstructions of the 97 currently-missing episodes. Tomorrow morning I will cross the finish line when I view Twice Upon a Time. Today I watched the two part story that wraps up the storylines for both Bill Potts and Nardole, not to mention Missy.

So let's talk about that.

Who isn't [afraid]? But you've still got to face your beast anyway.

As this ridiculous project draws to a close, I am in a literal mad dash to the finish line.Because I am traveling for work in a few days, and because I absolutely want to be done with Phase One of this thing before I go, I have to double up on episodes this weekend. That means that today I visited both Mars and ancient Scotland. How cool is that?

So let's talk about Martians, Victorians, Romans, and Picts.

So the Tardis has dresses and likes a bit of trouble? Yeah, I think I'm low-key in love with her.

Oh, such a Sunday this was. I had the closing performance of the stage show I have been in, and it was a doozy. Due to the lead becoming extremely ill during the performance (but not while onstage, thankfully), the whole thing went sideways about halfway through. It made for a memorable live performance, anyway. As for Doctor Who, I did indeed watch a new episode.

So let's talk about that.

History was saying to you, look, I've got some examples of fascism here for you to look at. No? Fundamentalism? No? Oh, okay, you carry on.

The thing is, World War Three. What do you think? Basically, we're against it.

Failing that, I think I've got some spare eyes somewhere. They're from a lizard, but I'm sure they'll fit.

There's a haunted house and woodlice from space. And lots of young people get eaten.
