One fat geek's SUCCESSFUL attempt to regenerate into a not-so-fat geek by watching the entirety of Doctor Who while walking on a treadmill

Oh, such a Sunday this was. I had the closing performance of the stage show I have been in, and it was a doozy. Due to the lead becoming extremely ill during the performance (but not while onstage, thankfully), the whole thing went sideways about halfway through. It made for a memorable live performance, anyway. As for Doctor Who, I did indeed watch a new episode.

So let's talk about that.

Sleep Day

Sleep Day

A show last night, a two show day today, and a closing show tomorrow, plus my busiest time of year for work - I am exhausted. I elected to sleep this morning instead of getting in my treadmill time. I’ll double up on Monday, and again next Sunday, in order to finish on schedule. Visiting the London Frost Faire with Bill and the Doctor will have to wait until tomorrow.

Have You Tried Turning It Off and On Again?

Have You Tried Turning It Off and On Again?

So far today I have worked a full day at my regular job, spent an hour on the treadmill watching Doctor Who, performed onstage in a theatrical production, and now I need to write this blog post before I go to bed. What are the odds that I am just going to copy and paste what I wrote a year and a half ago when this episode first aired? (Hint: the odds are pretty dang good.)

Hardly anything is evil, but most things are hungry. Hunger looks very like evil from the wrong end of the cutlery.

Here I am, driving to the end of this ridiculous project and circling back to nearly a year-and-a-half ago when I wrote about today's episode on its original air date. The funny thing about reaching the end right now is that I am in the midst of finishing a month-long run of acting in a stage show, plus this is my business time of the year at my day job, plus  a few other bits of drama. Still, I am trying to push through to the end of the project in just over a week, so let's get this done.
